Cii Staring : Manu , Nakul and Paras

Once upon a time there was a thought in one our minds to change the way in which the government and citizens interact in out country and we decided to make that change. We sat in the college canteen and sketched some basics that went on becoming the backbone of our project.It all started with the making of a synopsis which was professional enough to convey all the details in a proper way. We all most spent around 2 weeks in completing the synopsis which was initially made for IBM's The Great Mind Challenge , then things went out of plans and exams creeped up and we applied our minds away from the project and hence the dead line for project submissions passed and we failed to submit the project. But things changed when we regrouped our ideas and made a working model of our project as a part of our 4 semester project. Initially it was rather a rickety project just handling some basic features as we were just newbies. But again in the next sem we chose to work on a more versatile and flexible version of cii. First some cosmetic changes were brought which include a proper inclusion of css and a light and good theme. Then the database tables were figured out and on the top of these Paras wrote some brilliant jsp scripts to add robustness to the project. Some JavaScript was also used to translate some of the pages in Hindi using Google's translator. Sessions variable were implemented and we had it in our hands "The Citizen Information Integration System: which we thought a year earlier.
